KEEP PASTA FROZEN UNTIL COOKING TIME
Bring salted water to a boil in large pot.
Add frozen pasta to boiling water, stir occasionally.
After 2-3 minutes for noodles and 5-12 minutes for stuffed pasta, check for doneness: “al dente” is recommended!
Noodles need 2-3 minutes
Stuffed pastas need 7-12 minutes, depending on size.
Remove pasta (use a slotted spoon) one minute before it’s done so it can finish cooking in your sauce.
Reserve some pasta water to help thicken your sauce!
Cooking times vary by size, shape, and type of stuffing.
Stuffed pastas take 5-12 minutes to cook
Thin noodles can cook as fast as 2-3 minutes
Open shapes like rigatoni and paccheri may take 3-4 minutes
Pro tip: retain some pasta water to thicken your sauce!
